The Syracuse curriculum places considerable emphasis on leadership and teamwork. Describe your contributions to a group or organization with which you have been associated, and explain how your
experiences will enable you to contribute to the program. My experience in public accounting has exposed me to several team assignments that require certain budgetary and technical efficiencies to be attained in
order to fulfill a contractual obligation to a third party.
I am responsible for managing staff members, reporting the team's progress to my supervisors, and identifying and analyzing pertinent issues. I set the
applicable procedures for the assignment and discuss such with the engagement team, and review the responsibilities with each individual during the initial process of an engagement. As a team, we discuss our strategy
and expectations of management with the client. Throughout an assignment I assess our procedures and determine whether revisions are necessary in order to maintain efficiencies and remain profitable.
I have learned
that initial communication with team members and relevant third parties needs to be sincere and realistic in order to attain team and individual self worth. I realize that productivity is optimum when individuals, and
the team, are able to identify their goals and responsibilities prior to undertaking an assignment. This experience will enable me to contribute to a group of graduate school peers in an efficient and productive manner
through active participation.

2) You will not just "fit in" to the Syracuse MBA program, you will excel.
I bracketed the Syracuse name because I wasn't sure of the official title of the program.
