Our extended service allows clients a greater degree of
interaction with their primary and secondary editor.
Benefits of our extended service include:
1) Same examination, critique, and revision offered by our standard editing team.
2) One week of email interaction with your essay editor and secondary editor.
3) Final submit and polish to ensure that your essay is absolutely perfect.
Note:
1) When submitting your essay for extended
service edit, you will receive your initial examination, critique, and revision within 48 hours of your email submission.
Your Edit will follow these guidelines:
Global and Macro-level revisions
Does your essay communicate something important to a specific audience for a specific purpose?
Does the tone of your essay reflect a confident, mature, and enthusiastic candidate?
a) Appropriate for your audience
b) Substantive
c) Clear
d) Unified
e) Economical
f) Grammatically acceptable
Does your essay flow logically from paragraph to paragraph, sentence to sentence?
Can your topic choice be enhanced?
Does your essay capture the reader, and keep him or her interested throughout?
Are there any systemic problems with your writing style. I.E., are there any basic errors that
occur throughout your essay?
Does your writing have 1) vigor 2) authentic voice? Does this authentic voice remain constant throughout?
Sentence and Micro-level revisions
Is every sentence clear, concise, and to the point?
Are you telling the reader and not showing?
Are you using passive instead of active voice in your writing?
Do your sentences vary in structure?
Is every sentence engaging?
Is the mechanical structure of your sentences sound?
Do grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, run-on sentences, clichés, or fragments exist?
Can your word choice be altered to improve readability?
Secondary Edit Once your first edit is complete, a second member of our editing team will re-read the initial essay, editor critique,
and editor re-write. If there are any changes that this secondary editor feels are essential in maintaining the integrity of the essay, then they will be integrated within your revision.
Interaction
Now that you have received your revised essay, you have one week to interact via email with your primary and secondary editor.
Once you are fully satisfied with your essay, submit your work for a final revision to ensure perfection.
